Priyadarshan Was Convincing Akshay Kumar & Others To Not To Do Phir Hera Pheri, Claims Producer Firoz Nadiadwala

Hera Pheri turned 21 last year, but the film is still one of the most loved comedy films in Bollywood. The film, which has been around for two decades, is now surrounded by shocking claims and revelations. The whole thing began when director Priyadarshan made an indirect jibe about the sequel. Producer Firoz Nadiadwala is now reacting to the same.
Priyadarshan said that he did not want to direct the sequel because he was against the idea. According to him, a sequel was not necessary. Producer Firoz Nadiadwala responded by stating that Priya did not direct the original film properly, so it was impossible to approach him for the sequel.

Firoz Nadiadwala spoke to Mid Day. He said he kept his silence all these years with respect for Priyan and because the film was a huge success. He has not given my father or me any opportunity to be vilified. He can’t talk about declining our offer to direct the third and upcoming part of the film after not completing the first one.

He gave me a film that ran for three hours and forty minutes. His film was filled with depressing scenes. Many of the funny dialogues were removed. Firoz Nadiadwala said that he was not present during background music recording and dubbing.

Firoz also revealed that the director had left the film and added songs, punchlines, and improvisations. Neeraj Vora edited the film perfectly. Priyadarshan claims that he tried to convince Akshay Kumar and other actors not to make a sequel.
