The actress, 32, will portray a crime reporter in Aniruddha Ray Chowdhury’s ‘Lost.’ She is also a kindergarten teacher who takes children hostage in A Thursday and an IPS Officer in Dasvi.

Yami Gautam stated that she has always wanted to be able to play multiple roles. I’m glad filmmakers believe in me and offer diverse projects. It’s not easy to switch characters.

Yami Gautam said, “I recall being on the sets for ‘A Thursday’ one day after wrapping Dasvi.’ Then, right after that, I was in Kolkata to film ‘Lost. Because of tight schedules, a character shouldn’t be put at risk.

The actress, who is now married, says it’s wrong to take pride in exhaustion.

She said, “And for this, an actor should take time to breathe or spend time with his family to avoid burning out.” It is not a good idea to take pride in exhaustion. To achieve a better performance, we must respect that tiny space.
